What is an Equation Puzzle?
An equation puzzle is a statement involving numbers and letters in which the major words only show their first letter, then you have to guess what the equation stands for. For example:
7 D in the W
This one stands for "seven days in the week." The word "days" was replaced by "D" and the word "week" was replace by "W" . Here are a couple more equations:
50 S in the U 101 D
Can you figure them out? The answer to the first is "fifty states in the union" the second stands for "One-hundred and One Dalmations." Are you ready for some more?
